Trust VerifiedTrusted real estate agents, verified
PadLeaders lists verified real estate agents only. Every member is a trust verified realtor or broker who passed the same published checks: an active license, no public disciplinary action, a Google rating of 4.5+ with 10+ reviews, facts that match across the web, and a leadership marker we can prove. If you are asking how to find a trustworthy real estate agent, start here.
Not every agent gets in. PadLeaders members are Trust Verified leaders in real estate: licensed, in good standing, highly rated and verified. Our Colorado verified real estate agents are re-checked every month, and anyone who falls below the standard comes off the directory.
Trust Verified means the member met the published PadLeaders criteria on the last check date. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of results.
The Trust Verified standard
Six checks, the same for every agent. A check shows as verified only after we confirm it at the source. Until then a member shows "Verification in progress", in public.
Verified license
We look up the license on the state's official lookup (Colorado: DORA) and link to it. Status must be active.
Good standing
No public disciplinary action on the license. A filed complaint is not discipline; we look at the public record.
Verified reviews
A Google rating of 4.5 stars or higher with at least 10 Google reviews, linked to the source. We never write, edit or filter reviews.
Facts that match
Name, brokerage, phone and website must match on the agent's own site, brokerage roster, Google Business Profile and major directories.
Leadership marker
One fact we can verify: production, years licensed, a designation, a team-leader role or a community role.
Verified local data
Market numbers come from a labeled public source or the agent's own record, with the date shown.
Members who pass every check get the gold Trust Verified seal on their Pad Page™, dated with the month of their last check. Members still being checked show "Trust Verified: checking".
How to find a trustworthy real estate agent
1. Check the license. Every agent must hold an active license. For an agent license lookup in Colorado, use the Colorado Division of Real Estate lookup. Look for "active" and for any public discipline.
2. Read the reviews at the source. Searching "real estate agent with good reviews near me" brings up lots of star ratings. Open the Google profile itself, read the recent reviews and look at how many there are. A high rating from a handful of reviews tells you less than a high rating from dozens.
3. Make sure the facts match. The agent's name, brokerage and phone should be the same on their website, their brokerage roster and Google. Colorado requires the brokerage name to appear with any team name in advertising.
4. Ask what they have done. Years licensed, homes sold in your area, designations, and the plan they will use for you. A trusted agent answers plainly and in writing.
5. Use a verified directory. PadLeaders does checks 1 to 3 for you every month and shows the result on each member's Pad Page. Find a verified agent.
How an agent can lose Trust Verified
Membership can be suspended or cancelled if a member's Google rating drops below 4.5 stars or under 10 Google reviews, if public disciplinary action appears on the license, if the license lapses, if listing or contact information stops matching across the web, or if PadLeaders receives credible consumer complaints that we review. We review complaints before acting, and we give the member notice and a chance to respond. Refunds follow the Terms of Service.
Members can also ask us to correct a fact at any time. We fix verified errors within one business day and note the change.
What makes a Pad Leader
Pad Leaders are the industry leaders in their market: one per market, on the same published thresholds, on top of the Trust Verified standard.
- Active license. An active Colorado (or home-state) real estate license, checked on the state lookup.
- Good standing. No public disciplinary action on the license. (A filed complaint is not discipline.)
- Highly rated. A Google rating of 4.5 or higher with at least 10 reviews, linked to the source.
- Facts match. Name, brokerage, phone and website match across the web.
- A leadership marker. A production, years-licensed, designation, team-leader or community-role fact we can verify.
- Re-checked monthly. Members who fall below the standard are removed.
The rules we hold ourselves to
- No paid rankings. Paid placements are labeled Sponsored and their links carry rel="sponsored".
- No fake, written or edited reviews, and no ratings in schema that the page does not show.
- No "best", "number one" or "top" claims. A Pad Leader met published criteria; it is not a ranking.
- No promises of Google rankings or AI mentions.
- We do not vouch for any transaction. Trust Verified is a check of public facts, not an endorsement.
- No school, crime or demographic descriptions of neighborhoods (fair housing).
- No referral fees or commission splits. Flat fees only.
Trust Verified questions
How are agents verified?
We check five things at the source: an active license on the state lookup, no public disciplinary action, a Google rating of 4.5 stars or higher with at least 10 Google reviews, matching name, brokerage, phone and website across the web, and one leadership marker we can verify.
What does Trust Verified mean?
Trust Verified means the member met the published PadLeaders criteria on the last check date. It is not an endorsement or a guarantee of results.
Can an agent lose Trust Verified?
Yes.
How often do you re-check?
Every month. A member who falls below the standard is removed from the directory until they meet it again.
How do I check an agent's license myself?
In Colorado, use the Division of Real Estate license lookup at apps2.colorado.gov/dora/licensing/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx. Search the agent's name and check that the license is active and shows no public discipline.
